Rich's journey into radio proves it's never too late to chase a dream.
After beginning his broadcasting career in November 2023 as an Account Executive for a Racine, Wisconsin radio station, Rich LoCascio quickly became known for his creativity, work ethic, and passion for connecting with listeners. His success behind the scenes led to multiple promotions, including managing a key revenue-generating program for several Wisconsin music stations while also lending his voice to station promos and commercial campaigns heard across the state.
But Rich's goal was always to be behind the microphone.
On his 40th birthday, that dream became reality when he made his live on-air debut, bringing his energetic personality, love of music, and authentic connection with the community to the airwaves.
In March 2026, Rich expanded beyond traditional radio by launching T.T. Timeless, a TikTok-exclusive music program. What began as a way to sharpen his on-air skills between Saturday morning radio broadcasts quickly grew into a vibrant weeknight destination celebrating "The Greatest Music Ever Made" of the late 50s, 60s, and 70s.
Whether he's on terrestrial radio, creating digital content, or interacting with listeners online, Rich's mission remains the same: entertain, inspire, and build genuine connections through the power of great music and great storytelling.

Over four years ago, Ed Vanderlee began his TikTok journey with 1980 Something LIVE and built a positive, supportive music-loving community.
The 1980 Something LIVE family learned throughout the years that communities are built by people - friendships formed in chat, moderators who generously give their time, creators who support one another behind the scenes, and viewers who return night after night because they found a place where they truly belong.
The strongest communities are built through collaboration, trust, and shared purpose.
Through that, the decision was made to form the 1980 Something Alliance - a collaborative group of creators, moderators, and community leaders - passionate about creator independence, mutual support, and community-first values. Their belief is that everyone benefits when knowledge is shared, relationships are strengthened, and communities work together.
